Katherine joined the NIFLA staff in December 2007. Her main area of responsibility rests in identifying private foundations which provide grant opportunities to enhance NIFLA's financial base. In addition to grant-writing, she oversees Donor Development, tracks NIFLA statistics, serves as a resource for Pregnancy Resource Centers pursuing medical clinic conversion and provides general customer service to members who contact the NIFLA. She brings to the ministry a background in fundraising, sales and customer service.
Katherine holds a BA in Business/Marketing from Baldwin-Wallace College. In 1986 she completed her MA in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University. She and her husband, Alan, served in campus ministry in Ohio and Pennsylvania with the Coalition for Christian Outreach. Katherine also worked in the college setting in Student Activities, Orientation, Greek Life, Residence Life, Campus Events and Student Union Services. Just prior to joining NIFLA, Katherine was an Account Executive for Entertainment Publications on the Sally Foster Mid-Atlantic team.
Katherine and Alan view life as ministry and find their home on the historic battlegrounds of Spotsylvania, VA.
