NIFLA v. Chin
NIFLA Law Suit Against the State of Hawaii
- Legal Complaint (PDF)
In May 2017, the state of Hawaii passed SB501 which “requires all limited service pregnancy centers to disclose the availability of and enrollment information for reproductive health services.” The law mandates pro-life pregnancy centers, regardless of their moral convictions, provide referrals for state-funded reproductive health services including, but not limited to, abortion. This law impacts not only Hawaii pregnancy centers but churches as well, due to the location of one pregnancy center in a church.
