NIFLA provides online Webinars covering many topics of critical importance for Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs) and Pregnancy Resource Medical Clinics (PRMCs). The cost of each Webinar is $45. Each Webinar is recorded live and then placed on this website for future review by all PRCs and PRMCs that purchase the Webinar.
An access password and info will be sent to the e-mail address provided with your registration seven days prior to the LIVE Webinar. After the LIVE presentation, PRCs will have unlimited access to the recorded Webinar through the NIFLA website for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Access to the recorded Webinar will require the user ID and password provided upon registration. Should you have issues accessing the LIVE Webinars and need assistance, please contact Beth Chase at (509) 886-4894.
Cost-Effective Training and Education for the Entire Staff of PRCs
A Webinar offers a cost-effective educational and training experience for PRCs at a very affordable price. Connecting your receiving computer to a video projector will allow the outlines and Power Point presentations to be projected onto a screen or wall for an unlimited number of participants to view. By connecting your receiving telephone to a speaker all present will be able to hear the instructor. Thus, an unlimited number or PRC staff, volunteers and board members will be able to receive this training.
Continuing Education Credits Available to Nurses
NIFLA is licensed by the California Board of Nursing to provide continuing education units/contact hours for nurses. These contact hours are transferable to other states. Each of the Webinars offered are 90 minutes in length thereby providing 1.8 contact hours for nurses in eight of the ten Webinars given. A certificate of attendance for each Webinar will be available to download, print and complete for each nurse who needs to report contact hours. Upon return of such certificate signed by the nurse, NIFLA will issue the pertinent certificate awarding the contact hours to be reported to the nurse’s state board of nursing.
